Harathi Hinterlands - Running with the horses
Ah, Harathi. A map filled mainly with hills, holes and horses, or at least horse-people.
This map is quite pretty and certainly inventive with it's styling, though the close-ups of the Harathi themselves can make you quickly realize why you never get to befriend them. Seriously, have you ever seen one up close? Those things are terrifying.

But saying that, their area is one that feels fitting to their race. They are constantly fighting with what they consider to be invasive species (a.k.a us) and trying to protect their lands from the above invasives. Certainly the view from their cabin is worth the trek it too to get there in itself.
What is most surprising is their hospitality once inside of their normally-out-of-bounds home, instead of trying to kill you they instead tolerate you and even allow you to run with them around their camp before pulling a houdini and vanishing on you, only to reappear where they started from.

They also appear to be remarkably weak whilst in their 'stronghold'. Here you can see how I sneeze whilst holding out my weapon by pure accident and not at all by science, and the poor horsemun just keeled over. Perhaps they are not accustomed to outside illnesses yet, which means by all probability they may just all die out due to my slight cold. Sorry guys, but I guess this is why you shouldn't ever chase us with pointy sticks and then invite us over for tea. |
